What is a "Wiggins"?
Adel Wiggins has utilized its more than three decades of experience in the design and production of reliable flexible tube connectors to develop the W900 Series. This series has evolved in response to some very demanding application requirements - most particularly of one-hand installation and removal. The locking latch design eliminates troublesome and time-consuming installation of safety-wire. It also provides positive assurance of a full closure. The Electrical Bonding feature eliminates the external clamps, fastener and jumper wire required by most other connectors. Elimination of lock wire holes, grounding clamps and jumper provides for minimum weight and unit costs, while retaining the proven performance of other WIG-O-FLEX connectors. Fully qualified to AS1650 and MIL-C-22263.

Tube Connectors
The W900 Series Clamshell Coupling is the result of more than three decades of experience at Adel Wiggins in the design and production of reliable flexible tube connectors. The W900 Series Clamshell Connectors utilize a locking latch design, eliminating the installation of safety wire and offers one-handed installation. Integral electrical bonding eliminates the need for external clamps, fasteners and jumper wire required by most other connectors. The elimination of safety wire, grounding clamps and jumpers provides for a low weight connector. Applications are for Fuel, Pneumatic, and ECS systems.
Performance Characteristics:
Ferrules
Ferrules are welded to the application piping for the Tube Connector to seal. They have a provision for an "O" Ring to be placed to form the tight seal that Adel Wiggins are known for. Ferrules are an essential part of the Wiggins and can be purchased separately if you require to change piping for any reason.
