About Us

Gas was formed in 1994 as a development program to test the boundaries of Toyota's cult engine the 2JZ. After a large investment of research and testing into the 2JZ Gas have dominated Sports Compact Drag Racing with the immaculately presented 2JZ Powered Toyota Camry. In 2006-2007 the Camry smashed three Australian records with a fastest time set at Willowbank Raceway of 6.88 @ 207mph.

Power was the main drive behind the Gas Motorsport attack on the show series. With the Toyota Supra obliterating the series power record with an impressive 1090RWHP. Not only impressing with it's outright the Supra's professional presentation and presence astonished the judges and proved this by collecting three awards including champion Toyota and Best Judged Engine Bay.

Gas has now applied their professionalism, knowledge and resources to focus on the entire performance market place. With a full compliment of professional workshop facilities available and an ideal location based only 10 minutes from Eastern Creek Raceway.

This is also coupled with a full state of the art workshop facilities equiped with Engine Dyno Room, 4wd dyno, CNC mashining and Engine Building Room.

All this effort was rewarded with a win in the final which helped us to become the 2006/2007 Sport Compact Champions and 2008/09 Autosalon HP Power Champions.
